About

Sophie Lau is an emerging artist who has grown up all over Toronto. She studied psychology and environmental geography at the University of Toronto and has since realized an interest in engaging community driven artworks. Her acrylic and collage work are inspired by themes of nature, flow, cultural identity, and joy. She is inspired by seeing and feeling how people connect emotionally with art and aspires to find more ways to create that connection.

Sophie's other interests include GIS, playing steel pan, and learning languages.
